In the process of learning to help others, you will begin to maximize your own potential. It is our belief that before you can effectively help others, you need to be living what you learn. At PCCCA we define complete coaches as those who are living an excellent life and are prepared to help others do the same. This is what will happen for you when you complete this course. Our course will train you to work with Christians and non-Christians. You might have developing your own ministry as a goal, church work or private practice. We address each one and give more intensive training on your preferred specialty. Even if you ever decide not to work at life coaching, you will improve your own life in countless ways. There simply are no dollars and cents to value the improvement in one's quality of life... it is priceless!

Differences between Christian / Biblical Coaching Programs and Secular

There are many differences but primary is the underlying foundation. Secular coaching is humanistic and relies on the client's self-imposed goals. Christian coaching is Christ-centered. Within Christian coaching, there is a three-way relationship between client, coach and Holy Spirit. Secular coaching involves a two-way relationship between coach and client. Many Christian coaches have found it frustrating to work with secular programs and secularly accredited Christian programs because of the high infiltration of new age philosophies. You won't find that here at PCCCA. The bible distinctly tells us to seek only the counsel of other Christians. It is important to note though, that while PCCCA offers Christian Coach training and certification, the techniques learned are also applicable with secular clients. So the training you choose, should be more about who you are, than who your clients may one day be. Seek Him first and God will lead those to you, who need what you have to offer.

You will learn everything about Christian Life Coaching, from coaching strategies to exercises you can implement with your own clients. You will learn how to market your services to others in a simple and non-threatening way that attracts clients to you. We make promoting your practice easy and comfortable for you.  The best part is that you don't have to share your instructor with others during your weekly class time, referred to as sessions.

One-to-One Student / Instructor Ratio!

You will have your own instructor, who you will work with for 50 minutes each week via the telephone. You will work through your manual materials at a comfortable pace and have homework assignments that will require anywhere from 1 to 4 hours per week. You will have the opportunity to coach others in your practicum, so that you can learn by doing. Those you coach will have the benefit of your skills and your instructor's professional coaching skills (as a backup in case you ever feel uncertain.) Marketing Expertise - a critical component

We have found that many coaching schools graduate students without adequate skills or an in-depth knowledge of how to market their services. We employ special "Spirit-led Marketing" techniques that are only offered through PCCCA, to help you share the services you offer. Let's face it, no matter how sensational your skills are, if others don't know about them, you will seldom if ever take in new coaching clients.

We are experts at internet and local marketing. You will receive the full range of knowledge you need in this area. And we go another step further by helping market your services for you, in addition to what you yourself are doing. PCCCA gives you a huge advantage over what many other coaching schools offer.

What makes Christian Life Coaches special and different?

While most secular coach training teaches you to not convey your own values during your sessions with clients, Christian Life Coaches are free to speak the truth of God's word, and how it applies to their client's life. You don't have to know the Holy Bible cover to cover or even memorize verses. Our training gives you all these resources in the manual you receive, so that you are equipped with references to support your coaching clients and have all you need to help others achieve an abundant life.

Why people prefer coaching over therapy

• If someone is in therapy, it implies something is wrong with them. For many it is only their circumstances that need improving. Many people don't want to admit they have problems in their life. Life coaching on the other hand, does not carry this stigma.
• Life coaching is all about moving forward, taking action and accountability. People receive results a lot faster when they learn to act on their own behalf, rather than if they spend countless hours re-hashing the past on a therapists couch.
• Having a coach is something people share and are proud of. Having a coach implies that person is already somewhat successful. As you are aware, all high achievers, top athletes and executives have coaches to help them get to their next big thing.

NOTE: Obviously, life coaches don't treat mental illness or other mental health issues because we are not licensed or trained for that. So if you realize someone needs counseling or therapy, you need to refer them immediately to the appropriate professionals.

A business perspective on coaching

Unlike if you are working as a therapist, attorney or accountant, there is very little competition. Life coaching is a growing profession and if you begin now, you will be on the ground floor of all the opportunities that are out there. Beyond that, not many Christian Life Coaches know how to promote themselves or their practice effectively locally or on the internet. You will learn this during your training. Better yet, you will learn special "Spirit-Led Marketing" techniques, that will attract clients to you.

Many of our students don't start out feeling confident about marketing their practice but once they learn our techniques, they accelerate their practices very quickly.

Business Overhead: There is very little that is required to start your practice, and you probably have most of it already. If you are reading this, you obviously have access to a computer. You probably also have a phone. You will need paper, pens, file folders, coaching tools and forms (provided in the course) for each of your clients. Most coaching is done over the phone so you don't need an office. Almost everything you make is profit.

You can work from any quiet area in your home or office. Since you work by phone, there are no geographic boundaries for who you can work with. You could go away for a few weeks and work from another location. See? You get to make the rules. What other profession could say that?

How much do you want to work? (part time vs. full time)

Are you looking at Christian Life Coaching as something you want to do full time or part time? Life Coaching is a profession where you make the rules. No one tells you how much you should work. It all depends on what you want. Some coaches work just a few hours a week with a couple clients, others work 30-40 hours with a full time practice. As a life coach, you will earn between $85-150/hour for personal coaching and up to $300/hour as a business or executive coach. Our course also teaches you to set the right fees for your practice.

Niche development

Our training will teach you how to develop a profitable niche. Being able to coach anyone about anything is great but your greatest profits will lie in developing a niche where you become an expert. We show you how to do that.

Who enrolls to take our course?

People from all walks of life take this course. Some are nurses, some are counselors, therapists or chiropractors. Some work in ministry at their church or other helping professions. Some students are stay at home moms and dads. Some are single parents looking for a fulfilling supplemental income. Some are in administrative support positions or office/clerical and even technical trades. There are no previous educational requirements.  In general, our students are people who are good listeners, who enjoy helping others and seeing them thrive.

How do I pay for the course?

PCCCA offers 3 ways to pay for your training and certification course. You have an option to pay in full, pay in 4 payments or 9 payments. Most students pay in 4 payments so that when they graduate, their payments are complete and they will immediately receive their certification. You may select whichever option works best for you.
